Wow - first crowdfunding target met

We are overwhelmed by the response to our crowdfunding campaign. On 5 May 2020 in the evening, after only one week, we exceeded our target of CHF 5000. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for this. Your trust strengthens and touches us.

That same evening we informed our two affected producers in Nepal. The relief was enormous. Until the end of May 2020, an additional 30% of our turnover from our online shop (www.tgifw.com) will go to our producers.

This morning we received three thank-you videos from Nepal. Since Monday our clothing producer has been allowed to produce masks with very few employees in the factory. It is good to feel that he has hope again - hope for a good future. Thanks to your help, we are helping him and our carpet factory to bear the fixed costs in the Corona crisis. For the benefit of all the people who work there. There are still 25 days left until the end of our crowdfunding campaign. And we set ourselves another goal. With your help we want to reach a total of CHF 7500. From now on, every additional franc will go to a small organisation in Nepal that is run by Hemraj. Tashi knows this person and we have already started a water project for his children home beginning of this year. And with his effort, we have already distributed food rations to 17 families for a month, which cost CHF 30 per family from our TGIFW Foudation. With CHF 2500 we can provide 40 families with food for two months. These families are currently severely affected by Corona. The parents worked as day labourers and suddenly all sources of income were gone. These families have no savings. The poverty is accordingly high. Even if the government should decide to ease the situation, these families will suffer for months to come.
